However, they develop moulds on it if not stored properly, it is better to throw it off.

And lastly, if they develop a darker colour from what they originally are or maybe dark spots then this is the sign that mushroom have gone bad and it’s time to throw them away.

  • There is one more way in which you can store mushroom but this method is little time-consuming. In this method, you have to freeze the mushroom wrapped in parchment paper to not let moisture in.
